A single pool of light on stage can do so much.

Imagine a lively and fully lit stage with ensemble members hustling and bustling around. Then, suddenly, the stage goes dark, and a singular pool of light appears. A lighting cue like this can function as the "pause button" on the rest of the stage with an ensemble quiet in the background, visible yet still. Time has frozen, or so the audience thinks. Now, our stage illuminates a single character. It's a time to highlight and focus on this character's inner thoughts and feelings. A moment like this can give the audience insight they never knew before. A piece of the puzzle in the plot can now find its place. Clarity for the future is illuminated. A magical theater moment that can have a major impact on the story and the audience. 

What CYT Does: Illuminating Lives
It's the power of illumination that makes an impact. At CYT, we are able to light the way for students to create and gain confidence on and off stage through quality theater arts training. We also have the privilege of sharing the light of the Gospel of Jesus Christ with students, families, and communities across the nation. We want to continue glorifying our Savior through the arts.

We are asking those who love and care for CYT, students, families, and communities across the nation to be a part of the transformative power of generosity in illuminating the path of Christian Youth Theater's future. Donations will help support the organization's mission, values, and future, provide funding for continued development of software, safety measures, creative elements, quality systems, and support for local CYT Branches, and identify and assist new CYT Branch Start-Ups across the country. We want to continue on this trajectory of positively impacting our current CYT communities and seek out communities awaiting a CYT to begin.
